the Dog Club of Wilmington is owned and operated by a young weimaraner, Chloe and her brothers Maxwell & Charlie help her out. They know all about what dogs want and need.
Chloe had a very difficult time finding a place she could play at, a place with enough room for everyone (big and small) and offered cozy sleep over arrangements. She certainly wanted a place she could play at inside during cold, rainy or HOT days. She never wanted to stay overnight outside, after all she is a weimaraner, and sleeps in a bed every night at home! She also wanted a place that on a beautiful day she could lounge around outside and enjoy the sun…. or rough house in swimming pools, or chase balls, or do whatever she wanted!

Chloe met with a financial lady (also her mom) and gave her all her ideas, and the Dog Club of Wilmington was opened!
the Dog Club of Wilmington has 12,000 square feet of inside play area and overnight sleeping areas. All of our overnight rooms are inside... away from the elements of the outdoors. For outside playtime we have 15,000 square feet of fenced in back yard! We separate dogs based on their size, play styles and age!
The dogs are safe and sound at night with Chloe, her new little sister (who isn't so little anymore), her 2 brothers and mom living just a quarter of a mile down the street. But to be on the safe side, her mom insisted on ADT security for securing the whole building while sleeping!

We are staffed with a lot of trained humans who are here to supervise all the dogs and keep everyone safe. Our goal is to always provide a fun, clean and safe environment for everyone!
Chloe wants to meet every dog in Wilmington, NC, so she talked her mom into offering one full day of FREE play to all our new clients!

Chloe’s life started with a family in North Carolina who, for their own reasons, had to turn her into an animal shelter. The Weimaraner rescue program came across her, and she found a great home with her mom. Since she is a rescue dog who got a second chance, she wants to pay it forward and help other weimaraners find a great home too. Check out our RESCUE DOGS PAGE and see who needs a home!
